A lifetime resident of Haleiwa and mother of two. Attended Haleiwa Elementary and graduated from The Kamehameha Schools. Dances hula for Halau Kawaipuilani with Kumu Keith Awai.

Vice President

Lifetime resident of Haleiwa. Retired National Guard Veteran and Farmer. Sits on North Shore Neighborhood Board and has served the WCA as a board member since 2012.

Treasurer

A lifetime resident of Haleiwa, Currently lives in Waialua and a mother of four. Recently retired from Federal Civilian service. Attended Haleiwa Elementary School and Graduated from Waialua Intermediate and High School. Enjoys playing Pickle-ball and paddles for Manu O Ke Kai Canoe Club.

Jennifer Hernando

Secretary

A resident of Oahu for over 40 years and a resident of Hale‘iwa for more than 20 years with family ties to Waialua since the 1940s. Graduated from the University of Hawai‘i at Manoa with a Master’s Degree in Geology and Geophysics. Currently, self-employed as a consulting hydrogeologist. Dances hula with Kumu Keith Awai’s Halau Kawaipu‘ilani and enjoys playing soccer and standup paddling/surfing.

I am a United States Veteran, and served time in both Iraq and Afghanistan. My daughter graduated from Waialua High  School and my son is currently a 5th grader at Haleiwa Elementary School. My Wife, children and I are all members of the North Shore Christian Fellowship. I am also a small business owner here in Haleiwa.

Trustee

Lifetime resident of Haleiwa/Pupukea and mother of two. Comes from a Haleiwa Ohana that goes back generations. Retired from the Department of Defense, Dept. of Navy Federal Civilian Service. Attended St. Michaelʻs School and graduated from Waialua High and Intermediate School. Enjoys gardening, snorkeling, pickle-ball and traveling.

Keith Awai

Trustee

Comes from an old time Haleiwa family that goes back more than 10 generations. Worked as a Hawaiian Cultural Consultant at the Polynesian Cultural Center for over 40 years. Kumu Hula of hula halau "Kawaipu'ilanai" based right at the WCA. A graduate of the Kamehameha Schools and attended Church College of Hawaii.

Born and raised on the North Shore. Attended Waialua Elementary School and graduated from Waialua High and Intermediate School. Obtained Bachelor's Degree from the University of Hawaii - West Oahu. Currently works at Haleiwa Baptist Pre-Schoool handling the business side of the Pre-School. Married for twelve years with two sons. Enjoy serving church's children's ministry and spending time with family and friends on adventures such as hiking, beach, camping and traveling.

 Born and raised in Waialua. Retired from United Airlines after 31 years of service. Currently works at Waialua High and Intermediate School and has been there for 22 years as an EA and JROTC advisor. Active in the community and helps wherever he can.

Born in Kona, Hawaii. Attended the University of Hawaii graduating with a Master’s Degree in Architecture. Now a retired Architect. Born and raised on the Big Island but has lived in Haleiwa since 1972. A mother of three, a grandmother of eight and a great-grandmother of five. Enjoys research into Hawaiian genealogy, history and culture.

Graduated Kahuku High School. Coached Pop Warner and Flag Football. WHIS Assistant Football Coach. Father of five boys and grandfather of two.

Graduated Waialua High and Intermediate School. Professional Cleaner. Mother of two, grandmother of five and great-grandmother of two. Loves doing crafts and volunteer work for her church.
